Winter Animal Hike

November 11, 2017

The wildlife at Williams Park is preparing for winter. How do animals survive the harsh winter conditions? How do frogs freeze solid and still survive? Walk the Maple Ridge Trail with a Hendricks County Park Naturalist to look for animal homes and other signs that the wildlife is ready for colder conditions. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Appropriate for all ages, and no advance registration is required. Hiking terrain info: Easy to moderate difficulty; gravel surface; up to 1 mile
