DANVILLE, IN (June 3, 2014) - Visit Hendricks County has another tool available for travelers planning their next summer, fall or even holiday getaway in 2014.

Visit Hendricks County's 36-page, 2014 Visitor Guide is loaded with all the information a visitor would need in considering a trip to Hendricks County. The guide contains a listing of the county's top events and attractions including arts and cultural offerings, recreation, restaurants, shopping and motorsports. In addition, a hotel guide and map of the county make the guide a must for any traveler.

With its vibrant color, ease of use and numerous pictures and information, the guide has become one of the most popular documents produced by Visit Hendricks County annually. It, in conjunction with a visitor website, tourism blog, social media, bridal guide and other promotional materials, market all there is to see and do in Hendricks County.

"The Visitor Guide is an important tool to encourage summer travel to the area," said Jaime Bohler Smith, executive director of Visit Hendricks County. "It is also a great resource for residents to find events and activities to get out and enjoy this summer right here in their backyard."

Visit Hendricks County prints 35,000 guides annually and distributes the guides to visitors in a variety of ways. Guides are always available at the Visit Hendricks County office, at the county's Visitor Center just off I-70 in Plainfield, at Welcome Centers throughout the state and at area hotels. Visit Hendricks County also mails guides to visitors who requests them and hands them out in welcome bags to groups touring here, to visitors at area sporting events and at booths during visitor events.

Visit Hendricks County can even provide a quantity of guides for free to local businesses who want to distribute them to customers.
