DANVILLE, IN (June 11, 2025) – The Hendricks County Convention and Visitors Bureau (HCCVB) doing business as Visit Hendricks County has announced changes to the non-profit’s governing body, adding two new members to the Board of Directors and approving officers for the next two years.
Nancy Marsh joined the board in January as the Hendricks County Council representative of the Hendricks County Tourism Commission. Robert Thomson joined the board last month representing the Indianapolis Airport Authority where he serves as its Senior Finance Director.
“We are excited to welcome Nancy and Robert to our Board of Directors," said Jaime Bohler Smith, Executive Director/CEO of Visit Hendricks County. "Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will be instrumental in guiding our efforts to promote tourism and enhance the visitor and local experience in Hendricks County.”
The board also approved its Executive Committee officers earlier this year. They include:
- President – Erin Curry, Appian Tours
- Vice President – Carissa Newton, CN Creative and University of Indianapolis
- Treasurer/Past President – Julie Callis, The Shops at Perry Crossing
- Secretary – Kasey Coler, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park
Other board members include:
- Jennifer Smith, Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn Express Plainfield
- Brandy Dixon, Hampton Inn and Suites Plainfield
- Gary Everling, Plainfield Town Council
The HCCVB Board of Directors is contracted by the Hendricks County Tourism Commission to function as a destination leadership organization for Hendricks County through purposeful planning and transformational investment of the pass-through user fees known as the innkeeper’s tax funds.
