DANVILLE, IN (April 30, 2025) – Visit Hendricks County (VHC) has hired a new team member to oversee relationships with partners within the county’s visitor economy as the organization continues to reorganize its staff to execute its new strategic plan.
Maddy Thomas joins VHC as the new Partner Services Coordinator. She previously served as an Associate Account Manager at Young & Laramore – an Indianapolis based advertising agency. She is a graduate of Danville Community High School and the University of Indianapolis earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.
As Partner Services Coordinator at VHC, Thomas will provide services to position Hendricks County venues as a preferred location for special events, meetings and other activities while maintaining a close relationship with other tourism partners.
“We are thrilled to welcome Maddy," said Jaime Bohler Smith, Executive Director/CEO of Hendricks County. "Her lifelong familiarity with our county will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong relationships with our industry partners and clients.”
Thomas grew up in Danville where she currently resides with her husband Zane. Before starting her career, she interned at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and as an Events Associate at KM&A, where she eventually worked part time. She also served as a 500 Festival Princess in 2022.
