With more than 60 years of racing on the paved oval at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in Brownsburg, Indiana, the track has seen its share of racing greats and incredible action.
So, after taking a look at this year's schedule, here's our list of the must-see events on the oval in 2023:
Hoosier Hundred
The 70th Anniversary edition of the Hoosier Hundred was supposed to roar into town in April, but because of weather was moved to May 26 joining the Carb Night Classic event.
The Hoosier Hundred returns from a three-year hiatus and moves from the dirt track at the Indiana State Fairgrounds to the paved oval at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
With a purse of $92,000 -- $25,000 going to the winner -- the Hoosier Hundred is sure to be a day of exciting USAC Silver Crown Series racing. Tickets purchased for the event will be honored during Carb Night Classic.

Carb Night Classic
Always a fan favorite, which has featured a who's who of racing legends in its history including first-ever winner A.J. Foyt in 1961, this year's Carb Night Classic will take over the track on May 26.
The 2023 edition of the Carb Night Classic will feature the USF Pro 2000 and USF2000 Championships, as well as a 30-lap National Pavement Midget Championship feature paying $5,000 to win.
There will also be a 100-lap, points-paying USAC Silver Crown National Championship race which pays $10,000 to win.
General admission tickets cost $25, and pit passes and camping will also be available.
TSport 200
Continuing a tradition which dates back to 1982, NASCAR is back at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in 2023 with the TSport 200 on Aug. 11!
The NASCAR CRAFSTMAN Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series will race under the lights as future stars of stock car racing compete on one of America’s most storied short tracks.
Tickets to the NASCAR doubleheader at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park will be $45 each for reserved seats, while general admission tickets will be $35 each.
Children 12 and under will receive a free general admission ticket when accompanied by a paying adult, and primitive camping is also free.
Twin 25s
As long as you're in town for TSport 200, you might as well just spend the weekend at the track because the Twin 25s National Pavement Midget Championship takes over the oval track the very next day on Aug. 12!
Featuring a pair of 25-lap, high-intensity feature races, this event will pit drivers against one another for a shot at a huge payday.
The winner of the first feature starts the next race from the back of the pack. If that driver can maneuver through the field and win the second feature, he or she receives a $50,000 bonus in addition to the race purse.
That feat has only been accomplished once, and that was by the late Dave Steele in 2002. Will we witness history at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in 2023?
Championship Saturday
Capping off a busy oval season, the Howard Companies Championship Saturday takes place on Oct. 14. This triple-header features the season finales for the USAC Silver Crown National Championship, National Pavement Midget Championship, and the 500 Sprint Car Tour – all in one day!
The event will host the 100-lap USAC Silver Crown National Championship finale, as well as the 40-lap National Pavement Midget Championship and the 500 Sprint Car Tour.
Additionally, the 2023 A.J. Foyt Championship winner will be crowned, adding a new name to a list of track champions that includes legends such as Jeff Gordon, Parnelli Jones, Ryan Newman and more.
