Spring is the season of whimsy, flowers and...fairies. But unfortunately, the annual Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Festival has been cancelled again this year. The good news: It should return in 2022 better than ever!

While we’ll miss this event in 2021, which usually brings us face to face with unicorns and fairies, draws us into crafts and games and mesmerizes us with performances and costumes, have no fear! There is still plenty going on this spring to satisfy your wanderlust, fanciful imagination and creative energy.

The fairies remain busy coming up with some magical events and contests to keep you and/or your little ones occupied.

Virtual Fairy Garden PartyVirtual Fairy World

The Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Trail recently launched a free fairy virtual visit on the Gather platform in their very own FairyLand that they will continue each week once a month for an hour! This will include fairy story-time and crafting.

Organizers even hope to partner with local businesses to offer a play-along-at-home kit (think tea party, baked goods, craft kit). A hybrid program of sorts, it will combine the likes of Minecraft and Zoom to provide proximity-based chats.

You can learn more and enter the virtual FairyLand by clicking here.

Butterfly Release

Don’t miss the Butterfly Release at 1:30 p.m. May 23 at Beasley’s Orchard in Danville, Indiana. Those present will get a butterfly to release! You can also vote on the Enchanted Fairy Trail House competition that entire weekend, May 20-23 at Beasley's (see details on how to enter that contest below).
