Who doesn’t love chocolate? Schakolad Chocolate Factory in Plainfield is ready for any occasion, whether it’s the holidays or a movie night at home. They have an assortment of boxes filled with truffles, chocolate bombs and chocolate-covered pretzels that make an affordable gift or special treat.

The Civil-War era barn and market at Beasley's Orchard is packed with fresh produce of the season and is open Monday through Saturday.
It’s a great place to stop by for fresh apples, potatoes, broccoli and so much more but between the bakery and their local selection of breads, meats, cheese and seasonings, it’d be difficult not to find a gift or an entire meal at Beasley’s Market.
Cupcakes, cookies, pie (sliced or whole), cheesecake, muffins…you name it and the ladies at Two Chicks Whisky Business have something fresh and ready to pick up.
Be sure to stop in early. When supply is gone, it’s gone for the day but those made-from-scratch, unique recipes can’t be beat.
If you’re looking for something a little more robust – think, soups, casseroles, pot pies and other homemade meals, Beehive customers can not only sit down and eat breakfast, lunch or dinner in their dining area, they can take something home for their next meal, too.
In addition, enjoy cupcakes, scones and something called s’more brownies, which I’m sorry I missed but no worries, it will return as they restock supply.
