The Hendricks County 4-H Fair will once again bring a variety of entertainment, livestock shows, carnival rides and unique events to one of the best fairgrounds you will find in Indiana on July 13-19. The theme this year is: Lights, Camera, Hendricks County Fair!

Stop by any day of the week (or several days) and find something for everyone to enjoy. Be sure to register for events you want to participate in and check back on the 4-H Fairgrounds website for regular updates and information.

Bring your family and your empty stomach to Washington Township Park in Avon on July 18 for the 2nd Annual Friends of Fred Food Truck Festival! Friends of Fred is the largest food truck group in Indiana, touring the state to promote its booming food truck scene.

This family-friendly event offers free admission, free parking, free access to the park's splash pad, a huge family fun zone and much more! Leashed dogs are welcome, too!

The 13th Annual Coatesville Car Show will be held in downtown historic Coatesville in western Hendricks County on July 19. Every year, the downtown streets of Coatesville close as 300 classic cars converge for the annual day of fun.

This year's show will include door prizes, games, music, food, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. All years of cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors and side-by-sides are welcome. Enjoy a fun-filled day and see for yourself why this show is one of the most anticipated of the year for car enthusiasts.

NASCAR's rising stars roar around the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park oval in Brownsburg with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series on July 25.

The LIUNA! 150, presented by Dutch Boy, and the TSport 200 will both be nationally televised on Fox Sports 1 (FS1) with the LIUNA! 150, presented by Dutch Boy, going green at 5:30 p.m. before the TSport 200 at 8 p.m.

Hendricks Live! in Plainfield invites you to an installment of the York Concert Series -- Tapestry: the Carole King Songbook with Suzanne O Davis on July 25. You will feel the Earth move under your feet with this show as it recreates the sound and vibe of a 1970s Carole King concert experience following her legendary album, Tapestry.

Suzanne O Davis and her world-class band perform the complete Tapestry album and bring to life many hits featured in the Broadway smash "Beautiful," featuring songs Carole and her husband Gerry Goffin wrote in the 1960s. Suzanne delivers a "docu-concert" style presentation that includes comedy, entertaining stories and multi-media to enhance this celebrated music.
