All around Indiana, May means auto racing, and Hendricks County, Indiana is no exception.

You'll need to hurry as just a few tickets remain at Hendricks Live! on May 10 when the Steep Canyon Rangers visit from North Carolina to fill concert-goers' ears with musical magic.
Hailing from both the Appalachian and Piedmont regions of North Carolina, the Steep Canyon Rangers have gained recognition from well beyond the world of bluegrass, earning a reputation as some of the most influential songwriters in Americana today.
J&J All-Star Sportscard Show
Are you a sports enthusiast? Do you enjoy tracking down cards, memorabilia, autographs, jerseys and more? Well then, mark your calendars for May 10 because the J&J All-Star Sportscard Show will be at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds & Conference Complex in Danville.
With no admission fee and a family-friendly atmosphere, sports fans of all ages will enjoy shopping the wide variety of merchandise offered by dealers from all over the Midwest.

Spring-Palooza Peony Festival
Avon Gardens will celebrate spring at its annual Spring-Palooza Peony Festival on May 18. This free, family-friendly and pet-friendly festival features more than 100 species of peonies, more than 5 acres of display gardens and a whole lot of fun.
There will be a local artisan fair, live music, food and drink trucks, games, crafts and more. You'll also be able to shop for potted and bare root peonies, and explore their breath-taking grounds for inspiration!
Hendricks County Master Gardeners Plant Sale & Auction
The Hendricks County Master Gardeners will host their annual Plant Sale and Auction May 20 at the Cartlidge Barn at the Hendricks County 4-H Fair and Conference Complex in Danville.
The event is open to the public, free to attend, and refreshments will be provided. Beginning at 6 p.m., plants for sale will be priced between $2 and $8, while garden decor and tools, gift cards, as well as unique or special plants that are donated will be included in the auction that starts at 7 p.m.

Carb Night Classic & Hoosier Hundred
The Carb Night Classic returns to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in Brownsburg on May 23. Featuring multiple classes of open-wheel racing on the Friday before the Indianapolis 500, it will be a night to remember!
The Carb Night Classic will feature the 72nd Anniversary Hoosier Hundred, one of the crown jewel events on the USAC Silver Crown Series calendar. This 100-mile race will kick off the evening, which also includes the USF Pro 2000 and USF2000 Championships, as well as the National Pavement Midget Championship feature and All-Star Pavement Midgets feature.
Summer Fun Run Series
The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County is once again hosting its Summer Fun Run Series across several parks and trails throughout Hendricks County, and this year's kickoff event is on May 28 at Hummel Park in Plainfield.
If you love parks, enjoy being outdoors and are up for an active summer challenge, sign up for the Summer Fun Run & Walk Series, presented by Hendricks Regional Health. All proceeds financially support a multitude of parks, trails and parks departments.
