If you love art, Hendricks County has become one of those destinations that you need to visit. I recently discovered a real gem in Lynne Medsker Art & Photography, which is one of those studios new to the Rural Routes to Main Street Cultural Trail as a Second Saturdays participant. Lynne Medsker Lynne is a very talented digital and mixed media artist and photographer based in Brownsburg, Indiana, and to get a chance to see her at work in her studio is special. Lynne’s studio is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Second Saturday of each month as part of the Rural Routes to Main Street Cultural Trail. If you missed out this past weekend, Lynne will open her shop to the public again on March 9 and is considering having a contest and an opportunity for visitors to work on a project. Lynne Medsker studio 1 As a visitor to Hendricks County, I never realized how many talented artists live and work in Hendricks County. Then, to have an opportunity to visit and walk around the studios of artists like Lynne is amazing. It's like taking a peek behind the curtain to see how the magic happens. I'm an amateur photographer so I have all sorts of questions. I even hope to sign up for one of Lynne's individual or group classes soon. You can find Lynne’s work at galleries around Indiana and in Hendricks County at Artistic Designs Gallery, 124 E. Northfield Drive, Suite K, Brownsburg.
