Blues in the Burg

This annual celebration of music and food takes place Sept. 7 in Arbuckle Acres Park. Complete with a beer garden, food truck, and acclaimed regional and national acts such as Thornetta Davis, Jennie DeVoe, and Django Knight Band, this evening of the blues is a can't miss.

This bi-annual event -- the largest gathering of musicians in the state -- returns to the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds Sept. 28 and 29.

Buy, sell, and trade with national dealers who will be available to value your favorite (or maybe your least favorite) instruments.

Bow Wow Bash!

This 14th annual event has moved to Avon's Washington Township Park this year, but will feature all the beloved events, including pet contests, silent auction, a lure course, food trucks and the Hendricks Power Ball Drop -- arguably more fun than a NYE ball drop, and certainly cuter.

Bow Wow Bash is the largest adoption event in the county, and proceeds support Misty Eyes Animal Shelter.
