Recent sunny days provide a happy reminder that spring is almost here in Central Indiana! After months of cold, wet weather, it's time to enjoy nature and really appreciate the season change.

Engaging in outdoor physical activities is a great way to do this!

I'm excited to switch up my treadmill routine to walking in the fresh air. This past weekend my family and I decided to explore some local trails. After enjoying this fun, family activity together while getting exercise, I realized we haven't participated in a run/walk event since last summer.Copy of Park2Park Relay Runner

I checked into upcoming events and found that Hendricks County offers many events for runners/walkers of all ages and athletic abilities! Run/walk events provide the perfect opportunity to stay fit and healthy, have fun with family and friends, experience our beautiful trails and parks and give back to the community.

Here is a list of Hendricks County run/walk events through April. If you are looking ahead to summer and fall events, be sure to check out our Events Calendar!
