At their new location, you’ll find breakfast and lunch in addition to their signature desserts. The new menu items they are rolling out in their new space include sandwiches, soups, flavored drinks, coffee and of course — lots of CAKE!
This new space allows offers a variety of seating for visitors to enjoy lunch in as well as space for their classes.
Custom Cakes
Custom cakes are the main event at Sweet Minis. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding or any special occasion, Casey Ward loves being part of these most meaningful moments through creating beautiful and delicious cakes.
Casey offers consultations to talk about your vision or you can buy already made options from what is available in store. The wedding cakes and desserts are beautiful.
About the Owner & Cake Curator
Before Sweet Minis, Casey Ward spent more than two decades as a human resource consultant. When the pandemic hit, working from home made her realize how much she missed daily social interaction.
So, she found herself stress baking to fill the gap, which eventually led her to enroll in culinary school at Ivy Tech. That decision sparked a whole new adventure, and Sweet Minis was born!
Classes For All Ages
Starting in April, they're offering hands-on experiences for youth through adults! From one day sessions to in-depth four-week series covering brownies, cookies, biscuits and cupcakes, there’s something for everyone.
They also offer one-on-one sessions teaching students how to make buttercream icing, bake, frost and decorate their own mini cake.
Private Parties & Celebrations
They also host birthday and private parties for up to 25 guests, where everyone gets to decorate their own cake or brownie to take home.
They're excited their new location in Plainfield will allow for more space to host larger events.
Welcoming Old & New Customers in Plainfield
While the decision to move to Plainfield wasn't easy, they're excited to have a new larger space. You can find their new location at 2481 E. Main St., Plainfield, in the same plaza as Younique Culture.
As they settle into their new home, they're eager to meet new regulars, partner with local businesses and share their cakes, classes, and cafe with the Plainfield community.
