The Tie Dye Lab has been a popular and unique DIY opportunity in Hendricks County, Indiana, for years. But the owner wanted to offer even more fun and excitement for her guests.

So, after a long search to find the perfect building for their future aspirations, they moved just down the street to another building in Avon to expand their services and kid-friendly fun into a new, bigger space.

Whether you are a regular or have never been, now is the time to check out their new digs and enjoy an indoor activity, walk away with a tie-dyed T-shirt, beach towel or hoodie and bring home some great memories.

The Tie Dye Lab has always made tie dying an item so easy. Guests choose their item to tie dye, their colors and their favorite design, including new designs like polka dots and rainbow. The friendly staff helps every step of the way.

Once you're finished coloring, there is a short wait as the staff works their magic to set your design. Once that is done, it is time for the big reveal. You’ll be sent home with a special detergent to wash the final product and don’t forget to snap a picture of your group at the memory wall.

The move to their new location in the Beechwood Centre strip mall not only included more space to tie dye but higher ceilings to add a new activity that owner, Amanda Polley has been wanting to try for awhile.

The Tie Dye Lab now has a bounce house option for those who reserve parties at the The Tie Dye Lab. Not only can the group make something special to take home, they can use the waiting time to get some of that extra energy out in the bounce house. As of now, unless it is rented out for a private event, the Lab won't have tie-dying and their inflatables open at the same time.

Shirts for purchase span from three months to 5XL. They have parties that range from four-year-old birthdays to senior group day trips.

The owners at the Tie Dye Lab have a daughter with special needs, so it was important to them that their new building allows anyone and everyone to participate in the fun by making the lab accessible. Ramps are available leading up to the entrance and tables are adjustable to bring the project to the height needed.

The Tie Dye Lab offers birthday parties, business outings, team and troop events and more. They host Senior Citizen Tie Dye Days with a discount and they host spirit weeks, supporting school groups and nonprofits.

The studio is open Monday through Thursday by appointment only. Walk-ins are available Friday, Saturday and Sunday primarily just for tie-dying only, though they may open up public hours for the bounce house activities in the future.
