I got to be honest this girl isn't really the Vegas loving kind. I know I'm weird but the thought of going to a desert for a week to most likely lose money just isn't my idea of a good time. That being said I love games, and games for a good cause...oh, sign me up! That's why I wanted to share this great event taking place right here in Hendricks County on Nov. 16 for the United Way. The United Way of Central Indiana is hosting a Monte Carlo Night from 7-9:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Duke Event Center at Metropolis Mall in Plainfield. This fun event promises to be a great evening. United Way is currently selling tickets for entry. Tickets are one for $40 or 2 for $75. Tickets cover your entry fee into the event and $200 in chips to play games, light hors d'oeurves and desserts, plus one "free" raffle ticket for the prizes. The Duke Energy Event Center will be transformed into a Vegas looking casino allowing you to try your hand at crap tables, blackjack, roulette, Caribbean poker, wheel of fortune and two Texas Hold'em Poker tables. Play the games to win "money" that can be exchanged for raffle tickets for various prizes donated by businesses from Central Indiana. (You must be present to win prizes.) Best of all, attending this event is a great way to help support the awesome work of the United Way in our local community! Your participation will help fund United Way's four community priorities of education, income, health and basic needs. Why not make this a fun date night! Visit here for more information and to purchase your tickets!
