The B&O Bicycle Tour is a fun event for all ages and abilities and is a fundraiser for the B&O Trail. There are four routes to choose from; 11, 25, 45, and 65 miles. Routes are clearly marked with paint on the road and a map is provided as a back-up.
All riders ride the B&O Trail across the beautiful White Lick Creek bridge. Riders doing the longer routes proceed onto county roads and enjoy Hendricks County farm country, as well as McCloud Park, the town of North Salem and the town of Roachdale on the longest route. There are multiple rest stops serving snacks and drinks and providing a restroom. SAG drivers circulate the route to provide assistance if needed. There is a great lunch after the ride provided by Pit Stop BBQ and live music during the lunch. Kids 12 and under are free.
