Overview
Every year Ms. B's Teas hosts a traditional Christmas Tea during the month of December. This year as Hendricks County celebrates its 200th year, we will commemorate the county's bicentennial with a special tea service honoring our pioneer heritage. We are honored to be a Hendricks County Bicentennial Celebration endorsed event.
Our Hendricks County Bicentennial Christmas Tea menu is inspired by the foods consumed by the county's founders and early settlers in Indiana in 1824. Heirloom recipes will be used to feature three savories (smoked ham, johnny cakes, potato cakes), corn soup, biscuits with apple butter, four desserts (coffee fritters, Hoosier sugar cream pie, persimmon pudding, & Christmas pudding), cider and tea.
These authentic pioneer dishes will certainly offer a taste of history while paying tribute to the resourcefulness and resilience of Hendricks County’s early settlers.
Served daily from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM throughout the month of December, by reservation only. $39/person.
