      This special performance features a wide variety of wonderful works with silver or gold in the title, including the jazz-infused Golden Age Suite by Shostakovich, the sparkling overture from Le timbre d’argent (The Sound of Silver) by Saint-Saëns, the triumphant Entry of the Gods to Valhalla from Das Rheingold by Wagner, and the elegant Gold and Silver Waltz by Lehar.
