      Sewing Junk Journal Workshop

Stitch together stories, scraps, and soulful textures in this hands‑on sewing‑meets‑journaling workshop. Participants explore simple, creative bookbinding and decorative stitching techniques to transform rescued papers, fabric remnants, and found materials into a beautifully tactile junk journal. We’ll play with thread as both structure and embellishment — from hand‑sewn signatures to visible spine stitches, fabric tabs, pockets, and charming little sewn details that bring each page to life.

This class is perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike, offering a relaxed, exploratory space where imperfect stitches become part of the journal’s character. Everyone leaves with a one‑of‑a‑kind, soft‑bound journal ready for writing, memory‑keeping, or future mixed‑media play.

✨ All supplies provided. No experience needed—just bring your love of sewing, crafting, and creative play.
***Workshop participants are encouraged to bring any personal sewing ephemera bits that you would love to include in your journal.
