An energetic show featuring hit songs from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The Mighty Spinners!

The Spinners Tribute Band under the direction of co-music directors, Allen “Turk” Burke and Rodney Stepp, is an energetic show featuring hit songs from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The Mighty Spinners. Allen “Turk” Burke was the Music Director and keyboard player for The Spinners over 20 years and Rodney Stepp was the Band Leader, keyboard player and Assistant MD from 1974-1978. Allen and Rodney traveled all over the world with this legendary group and agree that “it is an honor to pay tribute to these guys who paved the way in our musical careers.” Allen and Rodney had a vision to bring back the music from this legendary group and assembled a group of talented and gifted individuals from the Indy Music Community.

On April 6, 2024, the Spinners Tribute Band made its debut honoring the legendary lead singer of The Spinners John Edwards. A Proclamation was presented to John as John Edwards Day in Indianapolis IN. The concert was phenomenal as the audience reminisced singing The Spinners hits. The Spinners Tribute Band consists of five male vocalist, three female background singers, a fiery rhythm section and a three-piece horn section.
