This short-track, oval race at Lucas Oil Raceway takes place the evening before the Indy 500 occurs at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). Carb Night Classic "The Race Before the 500" will feature four great racing series on one big night, the Road to Indy's Cooper Tires USF2000 drivers will take to the track first.

Tickets

Tickets are now available for purchase at the NHRA event website. Fans may also purchase parking passes and pit passes for the Carb Night Classic "The Race before the 500".

Ticket Prices

  • $20 for Adult Tickets  (ages 13+) 
  • $35 for Pit Passes (ages 18+)
  • $10-25 for Parking (depending on location)

Spectator Rules

Lucas Oil Raceway has added new protocols for fans due to the pandemic. These include face covering requirements, social distancing, health screening, sanitizing and more. Please review the Spectator Rules before attending. This page will be updated if these rules change.

Camping

Coolers

Coolers no bigger than 14x14x14 are permitted. No glass containers or alcohol allowed. For more information on permitted items, please view Lucas Oil Raceway's Gate Policy below.

Parking

Parking is available on site after you enter the main gate off U.S. 136 and is $10 per day. To view parking options, download the Lucas Oil Raceway Map.

Transportation

Lucas Oil Raceway is not located on a public bus line. Most taxi companies and ride share services, like Uber and Lyft, will make runs to the track.

Pets

Animals are not allowed at Lucas Oil Raceway. The only exception is made for service animals. 

Seating, Suites and Hospitality

General Admission seating changes daily. There are 3 suite areas; Oval Suites, Parks Tower and Concourse Suites as well as hospitality tents throughout the event.
