Fall Bucket List

We could make an argument here at Visit Hendricks County that fall is the best time to visit. So we have put together a distinct list of the top things you must do while you are here in the fall. Check off all of the bucket list items throughout the season and make sure you share your experiences on Twitter and Instagram using #inHendricks.

  1.  Taste test the apple cider and caramel apples at Beasley's Orchard and pick your favorite.
  2.  Make it through the Corn Maze at Beasley’s Orchard in under an hour.
  3.  Snap a photo with the Bicentennial 200 statue.
  4.  Discover your favorite pumpkin dessert at The Bread Basket
  5.  Grab a Latte at The Beehive and take a walk around the Downtown Danville Square.
  6.  Try one of the fall popcorn flavors at Pop-o-licious
  7.  Taste the Pumpkin Flurry from The Dairy Bar in Lizton
  8.  Find the ghost in the Hargrave Hall gym before going through their Haunted House
  9.  See the Fall Colors at McCloud Nature Park while wondering through their prairie maze
  10. Take in the Horror screening on Saturday night at the Indiana Short Film Festival
  11. Take a walk right before dusk in Washington Township Park under the Haunted Twin Bridges
  12. Watch the torch reach its fastest speed during the entire state Bicentennial Torch Relay
  13. Take a selfie with the llama at Hogan Farms or an Alpaca at Montrose Farms
  14. Paint a Frankenstein mug at uPaint Pottery
  15. Time how long it takes the dog at Hogan Farms to heard the sheep
  16. Get a mug shot behind the bars at the Hendricks County Historical Museum
  17. Disguise your dog during the Dog Daze event at Beasley’s Orchard.
