Being creative is fun for all ages. But, I've realized the whole process and mess can be overwhelming and take away the joy for me.
I find it more enjoyable to head to a local Do-It-Yourself studio and be creative there!
Hendricks County, Indiana offers a variety of Do-It-Yourself shops and studios for all ages that let you get your hands dirty and your creative juices flowing with no previous experience necessary. And they handle the supplies, lessons and clean up!

The perfect spot for a girls night out or a group activity, Board & Brush in Brownsburg features create-your-own custom wood signs. It's not just painting. Participants are walked through step-by-step process of sanding, hammering and finishing their individual projects.
You'll have fun and will leave with a beautiful piece you can give as a gift or keep for your home or office. And you can bring in your own food, beer and wine!
2. Brightly Art Studio
Our kids love Brightly Art Studio in Brownsburg! They love the classes, and I love that my kitchen table doesn't have paint, glitter and glue all over it after they're done creating their masterpieces!
Brightly believes in using art as a medium to nurture and celebrate creativity through a variety of lessons and workshops. They offer classes for kids and adults as well as workshops and summer camps.
They also offer a Drop in Craft Cafe during select times on Saturdays and Sundays to come in and pick from their list of Craft Cafe projects without registering in advance.

6. uPaint Pottery Studio
You can stop in at uPaint Pottery in Plainfield, Indiana, or you can schedule to have a group or birthday party at the studio. They offer hundreds of projects to choose from.
