Eat, Play & Gather at Shin Dig Restaurant in Plainfield Indiana
Published on
From family gatherings and friendly get-togethers to crowd-pleasing food, Shin Dig is all about making every meal feel like a celebration!
Shin Dig is the latest addition to Cunningham Restaurant Group's lineup of restaurants, bringing a fresh new dining experience to The Shops at Perry Crossing, in the space formerly home to Theo's Italian in Plainfield.
Here's what you need to know about this restaurant:
Craft Pizza
Many of Shin Dig's dishes are designed for sharing, making their selection of handcrafted, hand-tossed pizzas one of the featured menu items. A couple of my family's favorites are the Pig+Fig+Goat Pizza and the Al Pastor Pizza. But you can also build your own.
Another huge crowd-pleaser is the garlic butter breadsticks with parmesan and garlic chips and your choice of dipping sauce.
Wings & Other Things
Wind down with your friends with a variety of flavorful and versatile crispy wings that are perfect for sharing. Order them as an appetizer or entree with customizable options for your crew and experience flavors like Korean chili-honey glaze, Nashville hot buffalo or Caribbean habanero hot mango jerk sauce.
The rest of the menu consists of salads, burgers, hot dogs, wraps, meatballs and some vegetarian and vegan options.
Desserts & Drinks
A celebration isn't complete without dessert and drinks. Choose from an abundance of flavors and toppings; kids will love their rainbow sprinkles, gummy bears, Oreos and M&M's. I loved the warm vanilla bundt cake paired with cold and creamy vanilla ice cream.
They also have a large variety of cocktails, mocktails, wine and beers on tap and in the can. And they offer happy hour from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday with half-off draft cocktail deals and $5 draft beers.
Festive Gatherings
Shin Dig creates a festive and inviting space to host small to large groups.
Available for private events like rehearsal dinners, parties and large gatherings such as birthdays and team fun; Shin Dig also offers a party menu.
Family Fun
Unplug from screens and enjoy friendly face-to-face interaction with a variety of games provided by Shin Dig's game room. Choose from board games, cards or coloring while you wait for food or make it your main entertainment for the evening.
Our kids always enjoy a friendly competition of UNO which is a great way for mixed-age families to connect. And this restaurant really wants to bring people together as a neighborhood hangout.
