Want to experience Memphis barbecue in Central Indiana?
Look no further than Double D’s Southern BBQ, in Clayton, Indiana.
Founded by Memphis natives with a passion for delivering high-quality smoked meats and classic Southern sides, Double D’s brings true southern flavor to the heart of Indiana.
From Food Truck To Restaurant
Double D’s Southern BBQ may be new to Clayton as a brick-and-mortar restaurant, but it’s far from a newcomer to the Indiana barbecue scene. They built a loyal following as a successful catering business and popular food truck.
Now, with their own restaurant at 1670 E. US Highway 40 in Clayton, Double D’s is ready to welcome even more barbecue lovers through their doors.
The Menu
Double D’s Southern BBQ is all about serving fresh, delicious barbecue made from scratch daily. They offer tender ribs, pulled pork, brisket and other meats plus classic sides like creamy mac ‘n cheese and slow-cooked green beans.
Take our word for it, the ribs truly fall off the bone, the brisket melts in your mouth and the sides are just as delicious as the meat.
Award-Winning BBQ
Their commitment to quality has already earned them recognition. In 2024, Double D’s Southern BBQ took home awards for “Best Ribs” and “Best Sauce” at Hendricks County Rib-Fest.
Their secret? High-quality, locally sourced ingredients, cooked low and slow with all the rich, smoky goodness you’d expect from true southern barbecue.
Commitment to Freshness & Quality
Double D’s focuses on serving the freshest dishes daily. Their dedication to quality means they may occasionally sell out of popular items, but that’s just part of the charm.
When you dine at Double D’s, you’re getting barbecue that’s been prepared with care and attention to detail from start to finish.
