Published on
Anyone who knows me knows that cooking isn’t my thing, and standing in the kitchen for long periods isn’t accessible for me. Especially now that we’re busy, quasi empty-nesters looking for simple, healthy options, I needed to find other options.
That’s why I’m so grateful for Not Yo Mama’s Meal Prep in Avon, where fresh, ready-to-eat meals make it easy to eat well without the time, effort or physical strain.
Simply Satisfying
If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful and convenient meals in Hendricks County, Not Yo Mama’s Meal Prep in Avon, Indiana, is a standout.
Every meal we’ve tried has been thoughtfully prepared, delicious and truly satisfying. I would highly recommend that everyone give it a try.
Meals Made Accessible
What makes Not Yo Mama’s Meal Prep especially impactful is how much it supports accessibility and everyday life. Meal prep is a huge help for anyone recovering from surgery, older adults, individuals with disabilities or anyone who may have difficulty standing and cooking but still wants healthy, balanced meals.
It’s also a great solution for busy families or anyone needing extra support with meal planning around busy work, school and sports schedules. All the containers are Bpa-free. You can freeze, heat, wash and reuse for other portion-controlled lunches or leftovers.
Weekly Menus
Our favorites include Eggs Benedict, Steak & Rice with Garlic Parmesan Sauce, Hibachi Steak, Chicken & Rice, the Og Chicken Bowl and the indulgent S'more's Protein Cheesecake. As a Reese's cup fanatic, the Peanut Butter Cup Overnight Oats is also a fan favorite.
The food feels comforting and homemade without all the work. We also love that each meal clearly lists all ingredients and full nutritional facts, making it easy to track macros and make informed choices. As an added bonus, they also offer Glp-1 friendly meal options, which is a huge plus for many people focused on health and wellness.
Pickup & Catering
In addition to individual meals, they offer catering and gift cards, making it an easy and thoughtful option for events, workplaces or supporting loved ones during busy or challenging seasons. Meals can be picked up at the Avon storefront or from multiple pickup locations around the Indianapolis area.
The menu changes weekly and is always available on their website. Make 2026 work for you, and let Not Yo Mama's Meal Prep take over your kitchen duties.
