I love the joy it brings to families, co-workers and groups of all kinds when we take a break over a tasty dessert, whether that is ice cream, frozen yogurt or even snow cones.

This classic Avon establishment has been around for decades, providing fun memories and a special treat to local residents. If you’re in the mood for a little more, they also have a menu featuring one of the best tenderloins you can find.
It’s a popular hangout in downtown Danville and now owned by well-known entrepreneurs in the county. Jordan and Stephanie Yant have brought us Cabin Coffee Company and LumberjAxe.
Danville Dips specializes in mouthwatering ice cream, but they also serve food and other frozen treats inside an inviting storefront on the square in Danville.
Root Beer Float, Rhubarb Crumble and Ube Chai are just a few of the unique flavors at this Brownsburg ice cream shop. It’s the go-to for many local families on a warm summer night.
Another classic – the Lizton Dairy Bar has been around for decades and people from across the county and beyond come out to try the chili dogs, tacos and of course, their sweet treats, including cones, shakes and so much more.
Just off I-74, stop by for a nostalgic trip down memory lane at the stand-alone shop.

Located in the heart of Amo, The Cup & The Cone is the newest ice cream location on our list but well worth the trip. The soft serve treat comes with an assortment of toppings and the outdoor seating is perfect for friends, neighbors and visitors to hang out.
