Slide into Fun at Slick City Action Park in Brownsburg Indiana
Published on
More often than not, we parents are sitting at a table, hunched over the laptop working or chatting with others on the sidelines while the kids have a blast experiencing the bounce houses, trampolines, playgrounds and more according to where you’ve gone for the afternoon.
What if we could join in? If you’re looking for an indoor, physical activity that’s fun for the entire family, check out Slick City Action Park in Brownsburg, Indiana. The slide park offers the ultimate playground for all ages and no one has to sit on the sidelines.
Giant, Indoor Slides
Featuring 13 unique slides, guests can lay on their stomach on a mat with a special fabric against the frictionless slide and take off through twists and turns to eventually be air born onto a soft pillow-like surface.
Think water slides without the water. Adults have the option to get a spectator band but according to the owner, Marissa Lassaux, nearly every time, they return to the front desk to join in on the fun.
More Than Slides
While you could stay on the slides for hours, there are other things to check out too. Two air basketball courts offer a bit more pep in your step on the durable air mattress. You can still dribble the ball but your dunks will be better than ever.
There is also a zip line, a giant swing and trapeze in Acrobat Alley. Grab a snack at the City Café with pizza made in-house, pretzels, nachos and more.
For The Little Ones
Anyone over 4 years old can participate on the slides and air courts but those under 45” have an entire area for themselves. The Junior Jungle features a large net course to climb, mini slides and other soft play areas.
Don’t miss the Web Crawler and enjoy climbing up the wall like a certain superhero we all know and love.
Special Experiences
Future plans include adult-only nights, homeschool socials and family days. Don’t miss various after-hours activities such as glow nights. The LED lights up and down the slide will lead the way.
Muralists, Interactive Art Works have already created 30 feet of artwork done with UV reflective paint. Lighting specialists have also set up commercial grade lighting for a glow-in-the-dark night like none other.
