As a kid, it was always a treat to get doughnuts. We'd usually get them at the local grocery store bakery, or, on rare occasions, my mom would make them at home. Nothing fancy, but delicious.
There are so many varieties of doughnuts today, but my kids still gravitate toward the basic frosted or sprinkled doughnuts. While any sprinkle doughnut feels like a special treat for our kids, we have found some great places in Hendricks County, Indiana, to grab doughnuts!
