At the heart of the Blue Elite Experience is Chicago Style Stepping, a smooth, partner-based dance known for its rhythm, style and connection.
Throughout the weekend, attendees can participate in structured workshops and social dance sessions designed for both newcomers and experienced steppers.
A Nonprofit With A Mission
Founded by Seann Tischler, Shades of Blue Elite Extraordinaire operates with a mission to inspire, empower and create meaningful connections through culture, financial education and personal development.
The nonprofit supports programs that provide educational programming for inner-city youth, promote healthy living in underserved communities and partner with local food pantries to provide nutritious donations. It also helps small business owners access essential resources to grow their ventures.
4 Days of Entertainment & Dancing
The 2026 itinerary spans four full days of programming designed to keep the momentum going from morning to late night. Thursday kicks off with empowerment-focused sessions and workshops. Friday and Saturday feature line dancing, steppin’ workshops, ballroom instruction, themed day parties and high-energy night events that bring guests to the 3,000-square-foot dance floor.
Saturday evening’s signature Blue Elite Party, themed “Blue with a Slice of Lime,” includes dinner, music and nonstop dancing. The weekend wraps up on Sunday with a worship service and a farewell set.

Throughout the weekend, DJ Shorty Smooth will set the tone with an incredible lineup of music, keeping the dance floor energized.
