Doctoberfest: An Annual Celebration of Doctor Who in Indiana
Published on
Doctoberfest is back again this year! The annual event, which is hosted by Who North America and held in Hendricks County, Indiana, attracts Doctor Who fans from all over.
Doctoberfest 2026 will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17, and feature a variety of events for all ages.
Here's what to expect:
Free Festival
This year's Doctoberfest will be held at WHO North America in Camby, Indiana. And the event is free to attend!
Events will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Oct. 18. Vendors will remain open until 4 p.m., while WHO North America will be open until 8 p.m.
Creative Art & Costume Competitions
You can take part in a Doctor Who Costume competition and a Creative Art competition. Both events are free to enter and open to all ages.
Each winner will receive a gift certificate to WHO North America. You can also bring Doctor Who badges, buttons or keychains, and swap with other Doctor Who fans. This will be such a fun way to meet other Whovians.
Punch & Judy Show
Each year, Doctoberfest hosts the Punch and Judy Puppet Show. This is a traditional puppet show for all ages.
This year, guests will have three times to watch the show: 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
What Is Who North America?
Who North America started in 1998 when Doctor Who fan Keith Bradbury wanted to bring Doctor Who products to the U.S. In 2016, Keith and his wife, Jany, purchased their current location and have turned a love for Doctor Who into a detailed museum, event space and retail space.
If you're unfamiliar with all things Doctor Who, do not be intimidated by their shop. I know very little, but they welcome me with each visit and answer all my questions. Even if you don't make it to Doctoberfest 2025, I'd highly recommend checking out Who North America!
