Ready for a fun-filled day with your best gal pals?
Hendricks County, Indiana, just west of Indy, is the perfect destination for your next ladies’ day out!
This one-day itinerary works great for a Saturday but may also work well on weekdays. Be sure to check the websites of each establishment to confirm current hours and offerings.
Morning - Coffee & Breakfast
You will need lots of energy for this jam-packed day, so meet up with your besties at Best Friends Coffee & Bagels in Brownsburg.
Fuel up with bagels, muffins or some of their specialty breakfast sandwiches. Then toast to friendship while you indulge in cold brew coffee flights. As you sample the fun flavor options, you'll consume plenty of caffeine to keep your squad energized all day long.
Mid Morning – Shopping
Continue girl time in Brownsburg with a bit of shopping. Peruse antiques and hunt for one-of-a-kind finds at Gizmo’s Galleria, an upscale resale shop. Pop into The Hayloft to pick up specialty foods, including farm-to-table finds and delicious baked goods.
At Ella Mae’s Boutique, you'll find fashionable women’s attire as well as the latest styles of accessories.
Pre-Lunch - Wine Tasting or Orchard
Next, make your way to Avon for a round of wine tasting at Cooper's Hawk. With plenty of sweet and dry varieties on the tasting menu, even your friend with the pickiest palate will find a wine she loves.
If wine is not your thing or your crew prefers a non-alcoholic outing, head to Beasley's Orchard in Danville. Depending on the season, your group could pick apples, pumpkins, strawberries or sunflowers. Or let someone else do the manual labor and gather up goodies in the year-round Farm Market.
Mid Day - Lunch & More Shopping
Time to head west to Downtown Danville! Sit and relax for a spell as you enjoy a delightful late lunch.
The Beehive, Bread Basket Cafe & Bakery and Mayberry Cafe all dish up lunch fare perfect for your ladies' day out. Once you are rested and refueled, it's time for round two of shopping.
Wander through the shops around Danville's Historic Courthouse Square for everything from home decor and jewelry to creations by local artists and unique items made from re-purposed barn wood.
Late Afternoon – Tea Time & Antiquing
Enjoy spending some time in one of our smaller towns, Clayton, with an afternoon tea followed by finding some antique and vintage items!
At Ms. B's Teas, your girlfriends will get the royal treatment as they sip tea from beautiful china cups and savor the scones with clotted cream. You can follow that up by walking a few doors down and finding repurposed and vintage creations and much more at Copper Top Customs.
Evening – Dinner & Show
Wrap up your ladies’ day out in Plainfield with dinner and a show.
The Prewitt Restaurant + Lounge offers delicious fare fit for the foodies in your bunch as well as specialty cocktails. Create the ambience that best suits your crew by dining in the spacious renovated theater, the 1920s-themed bar or rooftop in the warmer months or enjoy a heated igloo in the winter.
Continue the fun across the street as you take in a concert, play or other performance at Hendricks Live! You will want to plan ahead for this final stop on your itinerary...plan ahead and purchase tickets before they sell out.
