What follows is our list of the most popular and unique wedding and event venues that offer both indoor and outdoor space in our county.
Lizton Lodge
Located in the rural northwestern corner of the county, this venue boasts a plethora of indoor and outdoor options. Whether it's the natural "Sunset Hill", the elegant white banquet hall, the lights and archway of the courtyard or the professional setting of their meeting rooms, Lizton Lodge offers an array of options for all tastes and sizes.
They offer a variety of spaces for large and small weddings and a wide range of budgets
Kennedy Estate
This 40-acre property offers rustic beauty few wedding venues possess, including unique features such as an old train caboose and Ferris wheel. Wedding parties love Kennedy Estate's 3-story, climate-controlled tower for the bridal party, complete with a bridal suite, groom rooms and access to a balcony.
And if you're experiencing event or wedding planning stress, you have access to a day-of coordinator. This can be more than a wedding venue. The grounds come with a beautiful, climate-controlled barn that can host any event or reception of up to 250 people.
Cartlidge Barn
This historic barn, once taken down piece by piece from an Avon farm, moved and reassembled at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds & Conference Complex, has become a staple location for weddings and corporate gatherings in Hendricks County.
The barn’s rustic charm provides a unique, old-school feel with the option to open the barn doors. That versatility makes the Cartlidge Barn the perfect hybrid venue.
Ash & Oak
Primarily a wedding facility, Ash & Oak does offer several indoor and outdoor options for any event. Within the 100-acre grounds, you will find a wealth of amenities, including two fire pits, food service staffing, a golf cart for shuttling and a bachelor pad/game room.
The venue is ideal for any event of up to 200 people and includes custom pricing to fit your needs. Whether you're planning a wedding, hosting a weekend retreat or looking for a location for a short company get-together, Ash & Oak has the venue for you.
Martha’s Orchard

They regularly host weddings, reunions, anniversaries, birthday parties and other life celebrations. The beautiful grounds and spring orchard blooms provide a picturesque backdrop for your event, with plenty of sites for any indoor or outdoor ceremony or reception.
