Top Outdoor Dining Options in Hendricks County Indiana
Published on
As the weather improves, we begin heading outside and enjoying all the things Hendricks County parks offer, biking on the many trails and of course, grabbing something to eat.
My family enjoys stopping by one of the restaurants that offer outdoor dining to keep that spring and summer vibe going. Here are some of our favorites:
Perillo’s Pizzeria
The authentic Sicilian restaurant, located in the heart of North Salem, offers a beautiful side patio buffered by a canopy of mature trees. Enjoy pizza, pasta, calzones and more in the quiet, outdoor atmosphere.
The Prewitt Restaurant & Lounge
Rooftop dining is a unique experience in Hendricks County and the newly renovated 1920’s movie theatre in downtown Plainfield offers the perfect spot to enjoy dinner under the stars. Try the Roasted Stuffed Chicken paired with the Stillman Chardonnay or your choice of steak.
(Tip: the co-owner of The Prewitt also owns Oasis Diner, just a block down the street and offers outdoor seating too.)
Opa!
Enjoy the authentic Greek cuisine in style on their outdoor patio in Avon. The signature Sagnaki, a cheese dish that is set on fire with a shout of “Opa!” before it’s served, shouldn’t be missed.
Theo’s Italian
One of Hendricks County’s newest restaurants with outdoor seating is Plainfield’s Theo’s Italian, a casual but upscale Italian treat. It’s the perfect location for a date night, sitting outside and enjoying Tagliatelle Carbonara or building your own pizza.
Boulder Creek Dining Company
Cunningham Restaurant Group brings this Brownsburg location to Hendricks County with a menu featuring steaks, pasta, salads, seafood and more. Did you know CRG also offers Stone Creek Dining Company in Plainfield and Bru Burger Bar in both Brownsburg and Plainfield – all of which, offer outdoor dining too?
More Options
Rush Off Main and The Locale in Brownsburg and Brew Link Brewing in Plainfield all made my honorable mention list when considering best outdoor dining opportunities. Check out the Hendricks County Restaurant Guide for more.
