What to Expect at the Beasley's Orchard Sweet Corn Party

Nothing says summer in Indiana quite like fresh sweet corn, and Beasley’s Orchard is celebrating the season with an exciting new event.

The inaugural Sweet Corn Party takes place on Saturday, Aug. 22, with fresh-picked sweet corn, tractor rides, flower fields, live music, local vendors and plenty of family fun.

Spend the day exploring one of Hendricks County’s favorite orchards while celebrating one of Indiana’s most iconic summer traditions.

One Day Only

The Sweet Corn Party takes place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Created to celebrate one of Beasley’s signature crops, this one-day event combines everything visitors love about the orchard with brand-new activities centered around fresh Indiana sweet corn.

Enjoy a tractor-pulled hayride through Beasley's Orchard during the event.

Ride Through the Farm

Hop aboard a tractor ride for a tour of the farm and see firsthand where Beasley’s famous sweet corn, apples, strawberries, sunflowers and other crops are grown.

It’s a fun opportunity to experience the entire orchard while learning more about the family farm that has welcomed visitors for generations.

Barnyard Bonanza & Family Fun

There is no general admission fee. Instead, individual activities will be charged individually/a la carte, including access to Beasley’s popular Barnyard Bonanza family play area, complete with the giant jumping pillow and other family favorites. Visitors can also enjoy face painting for an additional fee and giant yard games.

Kids will have plenty to do while adults relax and soak in the festive atmosphere.

Stroll Through Flower Fields

Visitors can also access Beasley’s beautiful flower fields, which will open exclusively for Sweet Corn Party guests.

Wander through colorful blooms, snap a few photos and pick your own flowers to take home for an additional fee.

You will find plenty of corn-inspired snacks and treats.

Local Vendors & Corn-Inspired Treats

The celebration continues with local craft vendors and a variety of food and drink options throughout the day. Be sure to save room for sweet corn-inspired snacks and treats while you’re there.

Beasley's will offer kettle corn, Mexican street corn, corn jalapeno "cornbread" donuts and other corn-themed treats from our concession stand. You can also preorder a discounted bushel of Beasley’s famous sweet corn to pick it up during the festival, making it easy to bring home one of summer’s best flavors.
