Blue Heron Park
Overview
This 83-acre park located directly behind Avon Town Hall features a beautiful, 9-acre fishing pond, walking trails, two children’s play areas, outdoor ping pong tables and two shelters. An Angel of Hope statue stands proudly in this wonderful park.
The park also boasts an 9-hole disc golf course that has become the home for many regional tournaments as well as league and recreational play. It also has Trak 36, a compacted dirt race track specifically designed for battery-powered RC (radio control) vehicles. This park is open from Dawn to Dusk.
