Fall Festivals
Fall festivals are huge in Hendricks County, so there are lots of them to choose from. Beasley's Orchard in Danville reigns supreme when it comes to fall festivals, offering different themes every weekend from Oct. 3 to Nov. 1.
They're not the only ones hosting fall festivals, though.
- Nehemiah Ranch in Avon hosts its Fall Harvest Days on the first three Saturdays of October
- Blue Heron Park in Avon is the site of the Harvest Hayrides Festival on Oct. 10
- McCloud Nature Park just outside of North Salem holds its annual Fall Colors Festival on Oct. 24
- The Hendricks County Courthouse Square in Danville is lined with scarecrows all throughout October, culminating in Scares on the Square on Oct. 24.
Fall Mazes
Another favorite activity in Hendricks County during October is exploring mazes. We have two corn mazes to choose from, plus a maze cut into a prairie.
Hogan Farms in Brownsburg and Beasley's Orchard in Danville each have their own corn mazes open through the month of October, and McCloud Nature Park, outside of North Salem, offers a prairie maze. It's the same concept, but in a 52-acre prairie rather than a cornfield.
Music at Hendricks Live!

Hendricks Live! in Plainfield presents a wide variety of live music all throughout the month of October including Latino Cabaret, gospel music, a blend of Broadway and Italian classics and a performance by the Hendricks Symphony.
Additionally, if you're a fan of the Doors, Tom Petty, and/or Foreigner, tribute bands celebrating those performers will be at Hendricks Live! this month. Check out the full list of events to learn more!
