The week-long Hendricks County 4-H Fair occurs every July and offers tons of family fun. The activities and events change annually but you can expect action-packed motorsports, carnival rides, farm animals and great fair food. FAIR CARNIVAL RIDES
How much does it cost to ride?
Your best bet if you plan to ride more than a couple rides is to purchase an unlimited rides band, which cost $20 a person Monday-Thursday, $25 on Friday and $30 on Saturday. You can purchase individual tickets as well.

When do the carnival rides open and close?
The carnival runs Monday through Saturday of fair week. The rides open at 5 p.m. Monday–Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Generally, the rides shut down around 10 p.m. each day unless there is a crowd, and then they will remain open until the crowd disperses.

What is the admission fee?
$5 General Admission per person at the gate. Children 9 & under are free. You can purchase discounted gate admission prior to the start of the fair online by clicking here.

WHEN TO ARRIVE AT FAIRGROUNDS
When is the best time to arrive?
Exhibits don't open until noon daily, so if you are looking for a quieter, less crowded experience to see exhibits and eat fair food, we recommend noon until 3 p.m. If your group prefers carnival rides and free shows, you should arrive around 4 p.m.
When do the gates open each day?
Gates open at 6 a.m. daily with admission fee collections beginning at 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
