Indiana Guitar Show Returns to Central Indiana
Published on
If you love guitars and great music, musicians from across the Midwest will once again gather in Hendricks County when the Indiana Guitar Show & Music Gear Expo returns April 11-12.
The long-running event will take place at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds & Conference Complex in Danville, Indiana, bringing together dealers, performers and enthusiasts for one of the largest gatherings of musicians in the state.
One of The Largest Guitar Shows In Indiana
The Indiana Guitar Show has built a reputation as one of the premier music gear events in the region. Held twice each year (once in the spring and again in the fall), the show consistently attracts national and regional dealers, collectors and musicians eager to buy, sell and trade instruments and equipment.
Guitars may be the headliner, but the event showcases far more than just six strings. Visitors can browse amps, sound equipment, accessories and other instruments such as fiddles and dulcimers.
Buy, Sell Or Trade Your Gear
One of the unique aspects of the Indiana Guitar Show is the opportunity for attendees to bring their own instruments to the event. Dealers and collectors are often on hand with cash and trade offers, creating an active marketplace where guitars and gear frequently change hands throughout the weekend.
Even if you’re not looking to sell, the show offers a rare chance to see vintage instruments, talk with experts and learn more about the history and craftsmanship behind many iconic guitars.
More Than Guitars
With 140 tables of music gear, attendees can browse PA systems, recording equipment, amps, effects pedals, vinyl records, music memorabilia and even fiddles, mandolins and dulcimers.
There's something for every level of musician or collector, from brand-new to vintage and items that are just plain cool.
Every Guitar Has A Story
The 2026 spring show will once again feature the “Every Guitar Has a Story” experience, where musicians and collectors can share the history behind their instruments.
Participants may even have their guitar featured in a short video highlighting unique instruments, their value and the stories that make them special.
Swag
Attendees can pick up official event merchandise, including T-shirts, hats and other items, to commemorate their experience at the show. These limited-edition items are a great way to show off your love for music and the Indiana Guitar Show.
There will also be door prizes, with lucky winners taking home autographed memorabilia from past items by legendary artists like Bonnie Raitt, Paul McCartney and Johnny Cash.
