Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park
Overview
Boasting three racetracks-including a .686-mile paved oval; quarter-mile drag strip; and a 2.5-mile, 15-turn road course- Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park has become Hendricks County's number-one tourist destination and a great location to watch an event.
It has an unparalleled history with racing giants such as A.J. Foyt, Mario Andretti and Don Garlits and many others having raced here.
Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park hosts the NHRA U.S. Nationals, the most prestigious drag race, every Labor Day weekend, as well as Carb Night Classic, where race fans can watch the up-and-coming, open-wheel drivers take to the oval the night before the Indianapolis 500 every Memorial Day weekend.
This facility also provides a venue for smaller events like Slamology, Ultimate Callout Challenge and Cleetus & Cars. View upcoming events at the raceway below in the 'Events' tab.
