Residents enjoy a wealth of access to nature with several local parks to enjoy. The 232-acre McCloud Nature Park is a crown jewel, boasting interpretive exhibits, a diverse wildlife population and sparkling creeks. Likewise, the Echo Hollow Nature Park offers visitors a variety of serene hiking trails, opportunities for pond fishing and wildlife viewing.

Natural Valley Ranch, located near Brownsburg, offers horse riding lessons for all skill levels. At the same time, Ellis Park is another local favorite with water slides, jungle gyms, and picnic areas–the perfect place to wind down with family and friends in the heart of Danville.

Delectable eating options abound as you make your way around Hendricks County. Fans of The Andy Griffith Show will want to make a beeline for the Mayberry Cafe in Danville, a themed tribute celebrating the beloved series.

Everything from the classical stylings of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra to blues, rock, pop, and stage shows is on tap for the coming season.
