Hendricks County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc.

The Hendricks County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc d/b/a Visit Hendricks County is contracted by the Hendricks County Tourism Commission to perform the marketing and development functions of destination management. The Board of Directors is appointed with members of the tourism industry representing hotels, tour operators, economic development consultants, retailers, small business owners and restaurateurs that make up the community fabric of Hendricks County. Visit Hendricks County began contracted operations with the Tourism Commission July 1, 2019.

Visit Hendricks County meets bi-monthly January, March, May, July, September and November. Information on attending the meetings can be found on the agenda.

We are the destination marketing organization for Hendricks County communities and tourism industry by promoting and developing the visitor experience to targeted markets for sustainable economic growth and quality of place.

We are an influential brand marketing leader focusing on specialized meetings and events, urban recreation pursuits and food culture.

VISIT HENDRICKS COUNTY TOURISM COMMISSION

Visit Hendricks County is governed by a nine-member Tourism Commission. The commission comprises seven appointments from the County Commissioners and two appointments by the largest municipality in the county, currently the Town of Plainfield.
