What started as a desire to raise funds for a local animal rescue turned into a thriving business. In February 2021, Presley Pullan decided to create charcuterie boxes for a Valentine’s fundraiser to support a local animal rescue. With a little help from social media, she raised enough to save an entire feral colony of cats in just two hours.

She knew she was onto something and believed this could become a viable business venture. She continued to hone her skills with inspiration from YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, and then assembled an impressive grazing board for her husband’s family in England.

Fueled by the praise she was receiving and with a bit of trepidation, she took the leap and initially opened Brie & Bartlett in a suite behind Best Friends Coffee & Bagels. Business was good as word got out, and she quickly outgrew it. She then shared space with Sweet Minis Cakes & Bakes in a strip mall behind Hilligoss Bakery, but recently determined it was time for another expansion.

Pullan welcomed her right-hand woman, Jamie Goldman, as co-owner and hired a crew of six preparing to finally move her business to a stand-alone business with a more visible location that could accommodate a larger crowd and your favorite adult beverages.

Situated in a spacious home with enviable character, Brie & Bartlett opened its new location at 123 E. Main St. in Brownsburg on July 22, 2023.

Natural light, gorgeous wood floors and décor accented with mauve, hunter green and gold fill the space. Plus, she finally has a space where customers can sit and enjoy her boards.

Grab a few friends and gab in the Brie & Bartlett seating area, ideal for a light lunch on a girls’ day out. They have submitted the paperwork for their beer/wine license, and as soon as the license is finalized, the ladies are excited to serve your drink of choice.

More to Offer on the Menu A little something extra with Brie & Bartlett's new coffee drinks and macarons (Photo courtesy of Brie & Bartlett)

With the addition of additional tables for dining, Brie & Bartlett has expanded their menu to include coffee drinks and grab-and-go breakfast options. Also, by customer request, she has extended their hours to open weekdays at 9:30 a.m.

Early morning treats include fruit-filled muffins, scrumptious beignets, chocolate pistachio croissants and more.

Treat yourself to a grazing box on your lunch break by selecting from pre-made lunch boxes in Mediterranean, Keto or traditional varieties.

They even have a small bites' menu for kids. The light, nutritious meals come with a juice box or mini water bottle. Guests can add Pirate's Booty for $1 or a cup of fresh fruit for $1.25.

My go-to sandwich has always been grilled cheese. I was thrilled to see one of the featured items on Brie & Bartlett’s new menu includes toasties, which are European-style grilled cheese sandwiches inspired by traditional charcuterie ingredients. I ordered a Bacon, Swiss, and Caramelized Onion Toastie, but I look forward to sampling the Caprese Toastie featuring fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto.

Perfect for the chilly fall days ahead is the addition of soup to the Brie & Bartlett menu. Pair a cup of Loaded Baked Potato soup or Tomato Bisque with half a sandwich for a combo or savor a bowl of velvety soup with a baguette.

Baked Brie has been a hit since it was introduced to the menu. Creamy, buttery brie with a bloomy rind, topped with luxurious sweet and savory garnishes makes for a fantastic appetizer for two. Customers have a hard time selecting from Maple Pecan, Herbed Garlic Butter and Truffle and Apricot, Honey and Pistachio.

Co-owners of Brie & Bartlett, Presley Pullan and Jamie Goldman and their crew cater to parties of one up to several hundred with varying sizes of beautifully arranged charcuterie boxes and grazing boards. They utilize a variety of quality meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, pickles, olives, preserves, crackers and macarons (for your sweet tooth) to create portable feasts and elaborate displays.

Each grazing box can be uniquely crafted as they will assemble them based on customer preference and current availability of items.

One of Brie & Bartlett's most popular boxes is 7Ate9 Box (as you may have guessed) feeds 7-9 people. If you want a great deal, opt for the $50 Friday Box (can only be ordered on Fridays). In an effort to prevent food waste, Pullan and Goldman create the $50 Friday Box using portions of cheese and other items that are still perfectly good but just are not usable on her full grazing boards.

When you are looking for an elegant food display that is sure to impress guests, you need to order a Brie & Bartlett grazing board or a full-grazing table. Brie & Bartlett work with their customers to accommodate dietary preferences, as well as themes and color palettes to create a one-of-a-kind, elegant setup.

The presentation goes a step above the grazing boxes, with an array of specialty meats, cheeses and other edible delights displayed on beautiful wooden boards in a variety of sizes. Just pay a small rental fee for the board as well as a refundable deposit, then don’t forget to return the board after your gathering.

Boards can be shrink-wrapped for pickup, or Goldman will deliver and set them up at your home or venue for a small fee.

Planning a wedding, bridal shower, birthday party or any other special occasion? Have Brie & Bartlett come to your venue and set up an impressive grazing table that will have your guests talking about the food spread long after they have gobbled up every delicious morsel.
