Formerly a historic 1950s theater by the same name, The Browny is the newest premier event space in Hendricks County, Indiana.
The building was recently purchased and renovated by Hendricks County Bank and Trust. Long-time Brownsburg resident, Krystee LeBlanc serves as the Manager of The Browny and is also the owner of Queen Anne's Lace Flower and Gifts.
Gather & Celebrate
Located in the heart of Brownsburg at 25 S. Green St,, The Browny is ideal for hosting a variety of events.
The main event space is just over 1,500 square feet and can hold 80-100 guests. Open since July 2024, some of the events already hosted at The Browny include class reunions, engagement parties, baby showers, holiday parties and celebrations of life.
Blank Canvas
The event space is tastefully decorated in simple, neutral tones...a versatile blank canvas! This allows each renter to decorate and achieve whatever look they want to create for their unique event.
The high ceilings and theater lighting make this large room feel even more spacious and inviting.
Extra Amenities
In addition to the main party room, renters also have access to the spacious warming kitchen to prep and store food. There is even a pass-through window that can serve as a bar.
Tables and chairs are available onsite and are included in the rental price, as is the welcome area and staging/storage room off of the west entrance.
Pricing
Rental of The Browny includes the entire 2,000+ square foot facility and must be reserved for a minimum of four hours. Rental time includes any time needed for set up and tear down.
The fee is $60 an hour, with discounted rates available for non-profit organizations (Monday-Thursday only).
Logistics
Since the Hendricks County Bank and Trust owns The Browny, free parking in the bank's lot (north side of the venue) is available for event guests. The facility includes two ADA bathrooms as well as space for storage and staging.
Renters may use the caterer of their choice or bring in their own food. For events that include alcohol, the renter can provide it themselves after signing an additional agreement, or they can hire a licensed bartender through a caterer.
