If you have a family with kids, you must check out Kids Empire at The Shops at Perry Crossing in Plainfield, Indiana!

I recently visited this huge, indoor playland with my children, and we absolutely loved the huge climbing structure with slides and a separate play area for young toddlers. Kids Empire is a great attraction for anyone looking for family fun in Hendricks County.

Fun For Everyone

Kids Empire play structure

The giant play structure at Kids Empire is perfect for children of all ages. It features many climbing and agility elements, slides, balance beams, a mini soccer court and more.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to play and participate in the activities and are allowed to use these structures with the kids. Personally, I had so much fun playing on the mini soccer court and racing down the slides with my kids.

Toddler Play Area

There is a separate play area that allows young toddlers to participate in the action while remaining in a safe, enclosed space. This play area has smaller foam climbing shapes, a ball pit and smaller slides.

The ball pit is filled with vibrant colored balls to jump, swim and wade in. The toddler play area is covered in brightly colored foam mats that add an extra level of padding and comfort for crawling babies and toddlers.

Relax and Recharge

Kids Empire seating

Need a place to sit down and relax while the kids play? Pull up a chair or grab a bench because there are plenty of seats and tables available.

This spacious seating area has views of the whole play center, so parents and caregivers can bring a laptop or read a book while still being able to see their child. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but they do offer concessions, including frozen treats, candy, beverages and a snack box combo for purchase.

Footwear, Lockers & Cubbies

Socks are mandatory to ensure safety and cleanliness. Everyone regardless of age and participation who plays at Kids Empire must wear socks. At Kids Empire, they don’t require a specific pair of socks like their competitors. But if you don’t have a pair of socks, they are available for $3 at the front desk.

When you sign in at the front desk, you are given a plastic tote and bin to put your shoes in. They also have lockers available if you don’t feel comfortable leaving your belongings unattended. Shoes are allowed inside the restrooms.

A Royal Dance Party

Magical Dance Castle inside Kids Empire

Enter the magical castle inside Kids Empire, where you can find a dance party, complete with fun music and black lights with neon glowing decals.

The dance castle is a fun, out-of-this-world dance experience, featuring a space theme with glow-in-the-dark planetary decals and a disco ball illuminating the dance floor. Kids will love taking a dance break here.

Pay to Play All Day

Kids Empire slide

Kids Empire doesn’t have an hourly rate to play. The child admission price includes two free adults and is good for the whole day. So, you can stay for as long as you want or come and go freely throughout the day.

Just make sure to check out with an attendant at the front and let them know you plan to return. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and you cannot leave your child unattended.
