Sometimes it’s not just about where you eat — it’s about what you sip. Hendricks County, Indiana, has a growing list of fun, unique and downright refreshing non-alcoholic drinks that go way beyond your average soda or latte.
If you are looking for adult beverages, you can find cocktail recommendations here. We've also covered craft beer previously here.
Below you will find places offering unique teas, lemonades, coffees and sodas in our county. This isn't intended to be a comprehensive list, just some of my favorites. Enjoy!
Brie & Bartlett's Glitter Lemonade
If you’re looking for whimsical, Instagram-worthy drinks, Brie and Bartlett delivers. Think glitter lemonade that shimmers and coffees topped with edible flowers or butterflies — beautiful and delicious.
They also offer charcuterie and lunch for you to enjoy, but these sparkly lemonades are a must-try!
Oasis Diner's Handcrafted Sodas
This iconic spot on Main Street in Plainfield creates its own in-house sodas, and I highly recommend their butterscotch root beer specifically. It's a unique flavor combination that's delicious on its own, but also is the perfect soda option for a float!
You’ll also find it on the menu at The Prewitt, making it a sip worth seeking out.
Ms. B’s Teas
All of the teas at Ms. B’s Teas are worth sampling, but the jasmine lavender latte stands out as my favorite. Smooth, calming and fragrant — it's lovely warm, but perfectly refreshing over ice on a summer day.
Like other tea and coffee shops, there are seasonal items, but Ms. B's Teas has a great year-round menu of fragrant teas and even offers TEA-vents.

The Green Room Cafe's Teddy Bear Latte
This new Coffee to Cocktails spot in Plainfield serves up a variety of flavors inside Hendricks Live!
But my favorite drink at The Green Room Cafe has become its Teddy Graham Latte, which is offered year-round. I've had this hot and iced, and it's the perfect combination of brown sugar and cinnamon. And they use their homemade syrups.
Creation Cookie Cafe's House-Made Chai
Cookies may be the main draw here, but don’t sleep on the drinks.
The chai at Creations Cookie Cafe is a handcrafted house blend of spices sweetened with honey and can be served hot or iced — perfect for any mood. And you can even make it a dirty chai by adding an espresso boost!
Rusted Silo's Real Lemonade
Rusted Silo Southern BBQ & Brewhouse may be more known for their award-winning BBQ or vast selection of craft beer, but a hidden gem that pairs perfectly with their food is their signature, homemade lemonade.
It's fresh, sweet and tangy and full of real lemon flavor. Our 4-year-old calls it “spicy,” which made me laugh — but really, it’s just that fresh!
India Bistro's Made-From-Scratch Lassi & Chai
If you’re craving authentic flavors, India Bistro in Plainfield has you covered. Their lassi is made from scratch with probiotic yogurt, and it's so refreshing.
They also make traditional chai tea, that's also delicious.
